Band Camp 2023
Band camp is 2 weeks of intense learning and bonding every year in August before school begins. Marching band and color guard students begin learning their field show and prep for pep band at football games. It is a fun, but hot, experience our students love to hate.
Fireworks booth 2023
The band kids were in out in the heat raising money for the band this July twirling flags, waving signs and even drumming out beat for the local news while the Talons sold fireworks. Thank you to all the volunteers and families that came by the booth to help out or purchase some fireworks. We appreciate everyone supporting our band and color guard students.
Pre-Band Camp 2023
Pre-band camp is two evenings in June where the current band and color guard get to meet the incoming freshman.

The lost Lesson - winter drumline 2023
The Winter Drumline’s “Lost Lesson” warned us about the repercussions of living in a world where we don’t list to one another. With creative choreography and props of sound muffling headphones the students played us through the need to look up and listen. The world is a much better place when we do.

Rhapsody in Red was Centennial Marching Hawks and Golden Pageantry Corps 2022 field show. This show featured movements from classic Gershwin’s hits like Rhapsody in Blue, Cuban Overture, and An American in Paris. They had a fantastic seasons finishing in 11th place in their divisions for championships.

disney trip 2022
We all worked hard all year to be able to raise enough money to take all of the band kids on a great trip to Disneyland. They were each given a once in a lifetime lesson from the Disney musicians and artists and shown how movies and music are put together to make wonderful shows and movies. During the trip they also participated in a few other festivals. It is an experience they will never forget.
The Bands 2021
2021 was an interesting year for the Centennial color guard and band program. It looked different than any other year ever experienced by our students. Kids wore face masks, learned music online, and social distancing was a thing. In the spring of 2021 students were allowed to perform again outside with masks and other protocols to keep kids COVID free. Here are some pictures of all the bands performing in 2021.

1,000 cranes - field show 2019
Based off the Japanese tradition that all who fold 1000 cranes will be bestowed one wish. The Centennial Marching Hawks and Golden Pageantry Corps want to offer good luck to all with their performance of 1,000 Cranes.
Band camp 2019
Fun in the sun, four corners fundrasing, food, and field show boot camp are the fundamentals of band camp. Thestudents start learning, drill, music and all the right moves the first two weeks before school starts. This season’s off to a fantastic start.
